When we first released WooCommerce almost 3 months ago, we always felt that the amount of payment gateways that we support would be crucial in making WooCommerce accessible to as many users as possible. Payment gateways are still very localized to this extent and even a platform as big as PayPal, isn’t available in all countries.
So with this in mind, we’re releasing three new payment gateway extensions today:
iDeal via Sisow
iDeal Sisow is a gateway plugin which extends WooCommerce allowing you to take payments with iDeal via Sisow. They’re cheaper then processing iDeal by yourself through your own Bank.
The iDeal Sisow gateway requires a Sisow account and that your store currency be in Euros.

SecureTrading is one of UK’s leading independent payment processors. SecureTrading Gateway is a plugin that extends WooCommerce, allowing you to take payments via SecureTrading. The plugin utilizes the the SecureTrading Payment Pages solution.
Ogone
Ogone Gateway is a plugin that extends WooCommerce, allowing you to take payments via the Ogone payment service. With over 40 international and local online payment methods Ogone allows your customers to choose how they want to pay, whatever the situation. Ogone is supported in several countries, including Belgium, France, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
In addition to the 3 new payment gateways, we’re also releasing a significantly upgraded version of our most popular WooCommerce extension, Table Rate Shipping.
Table Rate Shipping now supports Shipping Classes which were introduced in WC 1.3. It also includes a new Priority Field for allowing you to define rates which should override all others and be the only option displayed, plus we’ve made it easy to edit / re-order the rates through a nifty drag and drop UI.

Finally, we received a little Christmas bonus ourselves earlier today when WooCommerce achieved a very special milestone and surpassed the amount of downloads of Jigoshop (the original codebase that we forked) in only 90 days.
This is testament to the immense energy and hard work that Jay & Mike, along with the rest of the WooTeam, has put into WooCommerce: improving & extending the core, releasing some beautiful themes and collaborating with some awesome developers to release bucketloads of extensions. We’re growing, building and not planning to slow down. We’re also excited to build on WooCommerce’s recent success with some renewed energy and new ideas in 2012.
